I am trying to record using acid pro 7 with a rode NT1-A my audio interface is a focurite scarlett 8i6 but I cannot get the sound to come out and when it does it only comes out the left channel and real low even with the sound turned up on the interface and in acid. Could I please get help with this issue im new to this thanks.

Do you have phantom power turned on?
In acid, make sure you're using a mono track, or else input 1 will only be recognized as the left side.
